Job Opportunity

Unity is seeking a senior technical art manager to lead our graphics technical art team in Europe.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute to Unity's graphic strategy and vision
  • Collaborate closely with engineers and product designers to improve the content creation experience in Unity
  • Advocate for more elegant and efficient workflows and processes
  • Build a healthy, empowering team culture and lead a team of technical artists
  • Coordinate with other Unity teams and contribute to documentation, training material, presentations, and demos

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of the state of the art in 3D graphics and modern 3D asset creation pipelines
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a distributed team environment
  • Proven experience as a technical artist or artist with a strong background in 3D graphics
  • Leadership experience, having led a team of at least six people

Desirable Skills

  • Unity engine knowledge and/or prior experience as a technical art director
  • Experience with mobile or XR platforms and/or production experience with VFX or lighting
  • French or Danish language skills
