Research Scientist in Thymus Transplantation

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced postdoctoral researcher to join our team at Great Ormond Street Hospital and UCL Great Ormond Street Institute of Child Health. The successful candidate will have a strong background in cellular or molecular biology and experience in cell culture and molecular techniques.
The postdoctoral researcher will be responsible for leading innovative research projects in thymus transplantation, conducting experiments involving stem cells and thymic epithelial precursors, and supervising junior research staff. The researcher will also be responsible for organizing and managing research laboratories and collaborating with leading experts in translational research.
Main Responsibilities- Design and execute experiments to investigate thymus transplantation
- Supervise and mentor junior research staff
- Contribute to the development of research proposals and grant applications
- Present research findings at academic meetings and conferences
The successful candidate will have a strong track record of research experience and a proven ability to work independently and as part of a team. They will also have excellent communication and organizational skills and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements- Ph.D. in Cellular or Molecular Biology
- Experience in cell culture and molecular techniques
- Strong communication and organizational skills
