Job Title: Research Fellow in Thymus Transplantation
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Research Fellow to join our Thymus Transplantation team at Great Ormond Street Hospital. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting research in the field of thymus transplantation, with a focus on generating induced pluripotent stem cells and thymic epithelial precursors from patients' fibroblasts.
Main Responsibilities:
- Conduct research in the field of thymus transplantation, with a focus on generating induced pluripotent stem cells and thymic epithelial precursors from patients' fibroblasts.
- Work closely with the Thymus Transplantation team to develop and implement research projects.
- Supervise junior research staff and assist in the running and organization of the research laboratories.
- Contribute to the development of new research projects and ideas.
Requirements:
- PhD in a relevant field (Cellular and/or Molecular Biology).
- Laboratory experience in culture and manipulation of cell lines.
- Laboratory experience of using molecular biological techniques.
- Experience in data/statistical analysis.
