• Produce electrical schematics and drawings in line with project specifications
• Work with a range of servo drives to setup to work with a range of motors/actuators
• Research and design new software programs
• Program well-designed, testable, efficient code
• Produce specifications and comply with project plans and industry standards
• Document and maintain software functionality
• Confirm system and components capabilities by designing testing methods
• Design, develop, and maintain electrical control systems and components
• Carry out feasibility studies for new technical innovations
• Test installations and systems, and analyze data

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years' experience in an electronics engineer role or similar
• Skilled hands-on professional with the desire to build and test electrical control systems
• Excellent communication skills with a strong ability to articulate and produce clear, concise documentation
• Experience with motion control, servo drives, embedded systems, and PLC logic programming
• Ability to pass UK defence security clearance checks
