Job Title: Finance Director

Accountable Recruitment is seeking an experienced Finance Director to lead the financial strategy of a leading engineering organisation based in Warrington. This is a 6-month fixed-term contract opportunity that will focus on driving financial strategy and supporting the commercial growth of the business during this period.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement financial strategies to maximise profitability and support sustainable growth.
  • Provide strategic financial insights to guide business decisions, particularly in project finance, cost control, and capital investment.
  • Collaborate closely with senior management to drive commercial performance and ensure alignment with the company's objectives.
  • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes, ensuring they are robust and aligned with the organisation's goals.
  • Manage and mentor the finance team, ensuring high performance and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure full compliance with financial regulations and standards, optimising processes and systems where necessary.
Requirements:
  • Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent) with significant experience in a senior finance role.
  • Proven success in driving financial strategy and achieving commercial results within a complex, dynamic environment.
  • Strong leadership capabilities, with the ability to influence and engage with all levels of the organisation.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on delivering strategic financial value.
  • Experience in managing significant projects and capital investments is essential.
