Companion for Bedbound Adult

(4eff2) We are seeking a dedicated Personal Assistant to provide support on Saturdays from 10 AM to 2 PM.

As a 29-year-old individual currently facing challenges due to long-term health issues, I require assistance to alleviate the workload on my caregivers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Meal preparation and cooking
  • Laundry and ironing (perfection not required)
  • Running errands
  • Accompanying me to future appointments on Saturdays

Requirements:
  • No personal care duties involved
  • A friendly and relaxed demeanor, with a focus on tasks and the ability to follow detailed instructions
  • Experience with chronic illnesses is advantageous but not essential

Due to my compromised immune system, it is essential that you wear a mask while in my presence and when preparing food. Additionally, a lateral flow test (LFT) will be required before each shift, and all necessary supplies will be provided.

This position is initially temporary, pending a social care assessment, with the possibility of extending hours and duration based on mutual agreement.

A valid driver's license is preferred but not mandatory.
