The Role: Panavision is seeking a highly motivated and reliable Rental and Operations Assistant to play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth operation of our rental services.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service and exceed expectations by advising and processing rental and sales orders, driving sales targets, and promoting our diverse range of camera and lighting equipment.
- Develop in-depth knowledge of our equipment inventory, including camera and lighting systems, and confidently discuss features and benefits with clients.
- Strategically source equipment from external suppliers, negotiate best prices, and ensure timely deliveries and returns.
- Collaborate with colleagues to build positive relationships and maintain a collaborative work environment, effectively communicating with clients and colleagues.
- Participate in training sessions, stay informed about industry trends, and enhance expertise to remain at the forefront of equipment knowledge.
- Provide on-hand support for the operations department, including equipment deliveries in company vehicles when necessary.
Requirements:
- Demonstratable experience in a similar role, preferably within photography or moving image.
- An interest and understanding of photographic principles, photography, or image making.
- Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office Suite.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Strong initiative and a keen eye for detail.
- A valid driver's license for occasional transportation of equipment is essential.
