Position Overview

The Lead Financial Analyst (EMEA) is primarily accountable for the conclusive Trial Balances for multiple European entities overseen by the EMEA Finance Shared Service Centre. This role encompasses the monthly oversight of accounts within the region, compliance with reporting and tax obligations, and the formulation of annual financial statements and audits, among other duties.

This position collaborates closely with fellow EMEA Financial Analysts, Accounting Managers, Accounts Payable, Payroll, and Tax departments to ensure that Dynatrace's financial records are precise and adhere to both US and local GAAP standards.

This is a hybrid role, requiring candidates to be able to commute to the Maidenhead office two days a week.

  • Responsibilities:
    • Preparation of monthly management accounts in accordance with US-GAAP:
      • Accruals and prepayments journals as required
      • Collaboration with all members of the Shared Services Centre in the UK to ensure accuracy and clarity
      • Management reporting aligned with corporate deadlines, including the generation of notes and commentaries
      • Thorough understanding and monthly reconciliation of all Balance Sheet accounts to guarantee accurate recording, including payroll-related accounts (commissions, bonuses, shares, ESPP, and associated taxes)
    • Monthly local reporting including statistics and tax compliance
    • Ensure timely preparation and submission of all VAT returns
    • Conduct regular SOX controls for Accounts Payable and Payroll transactions
    • Weekly bank reconciliations for various entities
    • Timely completion of annual financial statements, audits, and tax calculations in collaboration with local advisors and corporate auditors
    • Ensure legal compliance regarding filings and statutory reports
    • Work with Accounts Payable to resolve vendor payment inquiries
    • Generate monthly cash flow forecasts
    • Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual tax packages
    • Coordinate with the EMEA Tax team to manage local tax audits
    • Engage in business partnering to enhance the accuracy of monthly reporting and forecasting
    • Participate in ongoing process improvement and standardization initiatives
Qualifications:
  • Part-qualified ACA, ACCA, or CIMA
  • Essential experience in multi-country and multi-currency environments
  • Experience in the technology sector or fast-paced industries is advantageous
  • Deadline-oriented with exceptional attention to detail and a proactive approach
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English, comfortable engaging with individuals at all organizational levels
  • Proficient in Excel
  • Highly motivated with the ability to inspire others
  • Demonstrated strong work ethic and analytical skills
  • Experience with NetSuite ERP is a plus
  • Familiarity with Blackline reconciliation systems is beneficial
