About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Environmental Sustainability Director to join our team at Alstom Transport UK Ltd. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in managing our environmental impact and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement environmental management plans to minimize our carbon footprint and promote sustainable practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate environmental considerations into project planning and execution.
  • Conduct environmental risk assessments and develop strategies to mitigate potential impacts.
  • Manage relationships with regulatory bodies and stakeholders to ensure compliance with environmental regulations.
  • Develop and implement training programs to educate employees on environmental best practices.
  • Monitor and report on environmental performance metrics to inform business decisions.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in environmental management or a related field.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful environmental initiatives.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
