Credit Controller

At Campions Group, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Credit Controller to join our Lettings Division. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality debt recovery services to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:- Ensure the accuracy and up-to-dateness of financial data in our Property Management System.
- Minimize unpaid rent by rigorously applying our arrears procedure.
- Deliver exceptional client accounting services to our clients.
- Produce client arrears reports as required.
- Provide monthly reporting to our Lettings Senior Credit Controller and Lettings Services Manager.
- Reconcile tenancy accounts and liaise with Government Agencies as necessary.
- Prepare legal cases and liaise with Solicitors regarding possession.
- Report to Clients and Property Managers.
- Review unposted receipts, investigate, and resolve any unidentified items.
- Process credit/debit card payments through our online system.
- Manage tenant accounts on a day-to-day basis.

- Provide appropriate communication at each interaction, depending on customer preferences and the matter at hand.
- Actively communicate with colleagues internally to provide a joined-up group-wide customer experience.
- Take individual ownership of developing an exemplary customer service culture across our portfolio, considering each interaction from the customer's perspective.
- Take ownership of the customer experience through visible and accessible property management services with personal intervention.
- Build relationships with customers to manage expectations and shape services around customer requirements.
- Continually improve customer service delivery and ratings, reviewing, responding to, and learning from feedback surveys, implementing change where possible and appropriate.
- Maximize training and development opportunities to keep abreast of recent landlord and tenant legislation, safety regulations, and the latest management practices.
- Support colleagues in specific areas of expertise to share best practice and support overall team development and knowledge.
- Adopt a flexible approach to take on other duties as the Company or Lettings Senior Credit Controller may reasonably require.
