We are seeking a skilled Credit Controller to join our team at Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited. As a Credit Controller, you will play a crucial role in the collection of external customer debt and maintaining strong relationships with our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the collection of external customer debt and resolve any issues or disputes that may prevent payment.
- Build internal and external customer relationships to facilitate cash collections.
- Ensure that appropriate action is taken against accounts that are in default, in line with our Cash Collections procedure.
- Maintain accurate customer account records to communicate previous actions taken.
- Meet monthly cash targets individually and as a team.
- Advise on potential issues or problems that may arise on external customer accounts.
- Intermediate level Excel skills to create spreadsheets and maintain databases.
- Basic level Word skills to create written communication and reports.
- Intermediate level Outlook skills to communicate with customers via email.
- Excellent telephone skills to handle all types of calls in a polite, helpful, and informative manner.
