About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced finance manager or management accountant with a background in manufacturing to join our team. The ideal candidate will hold a CIMA or ACCA qualification or be within 6 months of completing their studies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the finance function across our Gloucester site and other UK locations, ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of management accounts.
- Support the UK Financial Controller by providing reliable reporting information and ensuring all financial metrics are well understood.
- Manage and comprehend the company's key financial metrics.
- Oversee the finance team, mentor staff, and be accountable for their performance.
- Manage capital and prepare profit and loss statements, balance sheet reconciliations, and other financial reports.
Requirements:
- CIMA or ACCA qualified, or within 6 months of completing studies.
- Previous experience in Finance Management or as a Management Accountant.
- Advanced IT skills, especially in Excel.
