Job Title: Learning Support Assistant

Leader Education is seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join our team at a SEND secondary school in North Tyneside.

This inclusive school caters for pupils aged 11-16 with a range of special educational needs, including Autistic Spectrum Condition and Moderate Learning Difficulties.

We are looking for an individual who is passionate about supporting students with SEND and has experience working in a transferable role.

The successful candidate will have:

  • A fully enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to obtain one.
  • Experience of working with EHCPs.
  • Excellent communication skills to work effectively with parents, carers, and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Confidence in supporting students in the classroom and with their learning.
