We are seeking a skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our Older Adult Psychology Service in NHS Dumfries & Galloway. As a member of our team, you will work with older adults with a range of clinical presentations, including depression, anxiety, trauma, adjustment, and loss.
About the RoleThis is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a high level of clinical expertise and a commitment to improving the mental health needs of older adults. You will work closely with other healthcare professionals to provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for older adults with mental health issues.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct assessments and provide diagnoses for older adults with mental health issues
- Develop and implement treatment plans to address the mental health needs of older adults
- Work closely with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care for older adults
- Participate in regular staff meetings and supervision to ensure high-quality care
- Engage in ongoing professional development to stay up-to-date with best practices in clinical psychology
