Job Title: Specification Sales Manager - Flooring

At Mitchell Maguire, we are seeking a highly skilled Specification Sales Manager - Flooring to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for generating specifications with specifiers, architects, and interior designers, as well as managing and selling directly to fit-out contractors and flooring contractors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Field sales role selling a full range of manufactured floor coverings and carpet tiles
  • 60% of your time will be spent generating specifications with specifiers, architects, and interior designers
  • 40% of your time will be spent managing and selling directly to fit-out contractors and flooring contractors
  • Meet a turnover target of £800k
  • Target commercial buildings such as office blocks, education sector, hospitality & leisure, high rise residential, and a small amount of healthcare
  • Utilize Glenigan leads, in-house CRM database, and telesales leads
Requirements:
  • Proven sales experience in the flooring industry
  • Strong relationships with specifiers, architects, and interior designers
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Knowledge of the flooring industry and its trends
