About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Chief Commercial Officer to join our client's growing team in Glasgow. As a key member of the Senior Management Team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a clear strategy to drive business growth and improve operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive business strategy to drive growth and improve operational efficiency.
  • Manage and report on key milestones across all projects, ensuring timely delivery and meeting safety, scope, cost, schedule, and business benefit targets.
  • Work closely with the external sales team to ensure alignment to the developed business strategy.
  • Manage cross-project and interdepartmental dependencies to ensure seamless project delivery.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including project managers, team members, and external partners.
  • Identify and mitigate risks to project delivery, ensuring timely and cost-effective completion.
  • Collaborate with the Senior Management Team to develop and implement business strategies that drive growth and improve operational efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Relevant experience in a commercial or business development role, preferably in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
  • Strong business acumen and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to develop and implement business strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Proven track record of driving business growth and improving operational efficiency.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks to project delivery.
