Job Title: Chief Commercial Officer

Job Summary:

Venesky-Brown is collaborating with a leading global infrastructure and construction firm to find a dynamic and experienced Commercial Manager to join their team in Crossaig. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully managing key accounts and negotiating contracts.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Advise on risk profiling and management on projects and verify NP22 implementation.
  2. Produce and negotiate insurance claims with insurer's representatives.
  3. Agree terms and engage legal and commercial consultants, and monitor their accounts.
  4. Maintain contact with supply chain partners through contract vetting and input to contract documentation.
  5. Carry out sub-contract document vetting and input to sub-contract documentation.
  6. Support and when required undertake Project reviews on behalf of business assurance or internally as a 'health check'.
  7. Maintain high personal safety, sustainability, and quality.
  8. Ensure that Commercial forums are convened and attended by commercial and operational staff at frequent intervals.
  9. Provide commercial input to contacts with clients, and if necessary, client's representatives.
  10. Provide commercial advice to the site team in connection with all project issues and provide input to region/sector commercial discussions/reviews. Take part in discussions concerning project performance and provide commercial input to project strategy.

Requirements:

  1. Successfully operated at senior commercial level in a project delivery environment.
  2. Understand construction law, dispute resolution, and contractual terms in all standard contract forms.
  3. Adept at adopting a proactive approach in the identification and implementation of value engineering and cost reduction opportunities.
