About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Early Years Practitioner to join our team at Bright Horizons Sutton Day Nursery and Preschool. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and education to our children, ensuring their physical, emotional, and cognitive development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and implement engaging activities that promote children's learning and development, tailored to their individual needs and interests.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with parents and carers, keeping them informed about their child's progress and involving them in their child's learning journey.
  • Ensure the safety, welfare, and protection of children, adhering to our safeguarding policies and procedures.
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive team environment, working collaboratively with colleagues to provide exceptional care and education.

Requirements

  • Full and relevant Level 2 or above Early Years qualification.
  • Previous experience working with children, ideally in a nursery or early years setting.
  • Passion for making learning fun and engaging for children.
  • Ability to build trust and strong relationships with colleagues and parents.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding, child protection, and legislative requirements for working with children.
