Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and caring individual to join our team as an Autism Specialist Support Assistant at our specialist school for children with Autism. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting children with complex Autism and Learning Disabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized support to children with Autism, promoting their social, emotional, and academic development.
  • Work collaboratively with our team of therapists and psychologists to develop and implement personalized support plans.
  • Assist with daily living skills, such as personal care, meal preparation, and household chores.
  • Participate in educational and therapeutic activities, including group and individual sessions.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and participate in regular team meetings.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children with Autism and/or Special Needs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic knowledge of Autism and its effects on individuals.
