Job Title: Autism Specialist

Job Type: Temporary, Full-time

About the Role:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and compassionate Autism Specialist to join our team at a specialist school in Maidenhead, providing tailored care for children aged 5 to 18 with Special Educational Needs. As an Autism Specialist, you will work closely with experienced SEN practitioners and psychologists, gaining valuable hands-on experience in a professional setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Understanding of Social and Emotional Mental Health (SEMH)
  • Helping students develop emotional regulation and social skills
  • Close work with external practitioners and psychologists
  • Keen Interest in working with children or in Special Educational Needs (SEN)
  • Being resilient, calm under pressure, and good with children

What We Offer:

A long-term temporary position with the opportunity for permanent employment, working Monday to Friday from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm. Competitive daily rates from £83 to £95 (dependent on experience, training, qualifications, and client rate available).

Requirements:

  • Understanding of Autism and related challenges
  • Experience working with children or in a related field (desirable but not essential)
