Job Purpose


Community Support Facilitators will aid the Support Practitioners in the daily operations of the service, with a focus on the intensive housing management aspect of the role.

All staff will be required to undergo Cognitive Analytic Therapy Skills Training (CAT), which will provide a framework for understanding and collaborating with individuals and colleagues in managing psychological and relational aspects of mental health, personality disorders, and high-risk behaviors.

Training will also be provided in Trauma-Informed Care. These methodologies will be utilized for planning and evaluating the effectiveness of various interventions and risk management strategies.

Working Hours


The facility will be staffed 24/7, and the post holder will work a rota of 4 days on – 8 am to 8 pm – followed by 4 days off.

This ensures that a Community Support Facilitator is available on-site every day of the week.

Responsibilities and Duties

To ensure that Intensive Housing Management tasks are executed promptly and to a high standard.
To cultivate supportive and therapeutic relationships with Service Users through meaningful dialogue.
To implement activity-based interventions.
To assist in preparing Service Users for reintegration into their chosen community.
To ensure that Housing Benefit applications are processed in a timely manner.
To collaborate with the support worker team to ensure that all daily tasks are completed and that residents' needs are effectively met.
