Key Responsibilities- Ensure all quality and compliance documentation is up-to-date and accurately maintained across the business.
- Lead the Boots Digital Health business in data protection, including DPIAs and privacy policy adjustments, supported by the central DPO's office.
- Align the compliance approach at Boots Digital Health with the wider Boots business, working as an extension of the central team.
- Support internal audit and regulatory inspection requirements.
- Collaborate with the Medical Director, Dep. Medical Director, Registered Manager, and IT Governance lead to harmonize expertise and make informed decisions.
- Represent Boots Digital Health as a data steward within the wider Boots business.
- Support the Dep. Medical Director with clinical governance activity through close communication and shared project work.
- Conduct audits and self-inspections to identify opportunities for improvement and prepare the team for regulatory inspections.
- Develop and continually improve Standard Operating Procedures and policies to meet gold standards.
- Proven experience as a compliance or governance manager.
- In-depth knowledge of standards and regulations within a regulated industry, preferably in healthcare.
- Excellent record-keeping skills.
- Methodical and diligent with outstanding planning abilities.
- Proven ability to understand complex problems and facilitate solutions.
- Comfortable navigating and influencing senior stakeholders to ensure risks are given due attention and appropriate decision-making is achieved.
- Excellent communication skills, verbal and written, with sound attention to detail.
- Ability to operate with autonomy and limited supervision.
