Nursery Practitioner Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Nursery Practitioner to join our team at an outstanding nursery in Sydenham. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and education to our children.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Plan and deliver engaging activities that cater to the individual needs and stages of development of our children.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date child records, including learning plans, reports, and observations.
  • Build strong relationships with parents and carers, ensuring effective communication and partnership.
  • Ensure a safe and nurturing environment that meets the needs of all children, regardless of their background or abilities.
  • Contribute to the maintenance of a clean and hygienic environment, including nappy changing and toilet training.
  • Assist with mealtime and snack preparation.
Requirements:
  • A Level 3 qualification recognized by the DfE for counting in the early years foundation stage framework staff:child ratios.
  • A clear understanding of child development and learning principles.
  • A strong knowledge of the EYFS framework.
  • Reliability, enthusiasm, and flexibility.
  • A can-do attitude and strong communication skills.
  • Enhanced DBS background check and two professional references required.
