About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Nursery Practitioner to join our team at Penge East Day Nursery, part of Grandir UK. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and education to our children.

As a Nursery Practitioner, you will be responsible for promoting a safe and stimulating environment that meets the needs of our children. You will work closely with our experienced team to deliver a rich and engaging curriculum that supports the development of our children.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Promote high standards of quality within the nursery environment.
  • Assume key carer responsibilities for designated children.
  • Ensure that all children receive rich and stimulating experiences appropriate to their age and stage of development.
  • Prepare and support children's activities.
  • In the absence of the Team/Room Leader, maintain effective day-to-day management of the environment.
  • Contribute to ensuring that practice and provision in the nursery meets the requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage.
  • Support and mentor students and un-qualified staff to ensure delivery of high-quality childcare practice.
