Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Specialist to join our team. As a Sales Specialist, you will play a key role in the sale of our full range of building supplies products.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide quotations for customers
- Deal with customers face-to-face and over the telephone
- Offer excellent customer service and sound product advice
- Take a proactive approach to building product sales, using every opportunity to make or increase a sale
- Use a customer relationship management system (CRM) to hold a portfolio of 50+ customers
- Generate new business with existing and new customers
- Upsell and gap analysis on existing customers
- Cold calling
- Lead qualifying
- Quote follow-up
Requirements and Qualifications
- Motivated, energetic, enthusiastic, self-driven, positive attitude
- Sound building supplies knowledge is required
- Previous sales experience in a builder's merchant environment is a necessity
- Confident dealing with customers
- The ability to build great customer relationships
- A good telephone manner, excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Computer literate
