About the Role

We are seeking a Trainee Bus Driver to join our Inverness team at Stagecoach Group. As a Trainee Bus Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting passengers to their destinations while providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive a modern, state-of-the-art fleet of buses, including electric and double-decker vehicles.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to passengers, ensuring their safety and comfort.
  • Work collaboratively with other drivers and depot staff to maintain a high level of service.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to improve driving skills and knowledge.
  • Contribute to the overall success of the depot by adhering to company policies and procedures.

  • A competitive hourly rate of £13.00, with overtime opportunities at £16.50 per hour.
  • A guaranteed minimum of 39 hours per week, with opportunities for additional hours.

Requirements
  • Be at least 18 years old and hold a valid driving license with no more than 6 penalty points.
  • Have a patient, safe, and courteous approach to driving.
  • Be able to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
  • Be willing to undergo regular training and assessments to maintain a high level of driving standards.
