Job Title: Learning Support Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Learning Support Assistant to join our team at Teaching Personnel. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with learning difficulties or disabilities in a dynamic and inclusive educational setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide individualized support to students with learning difficulties or disabilities
  • Assist in implementing individual education plans to ensure students reach their full potential
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers to deliver lessons and support student learning
  • Help students with classroom activities and assignments, promoting independence and confidence
  • Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teachers to inform instruction
Requirements:
  • GCSEs in English and Maths
  • Experience working with children or individuals with special educational needs
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
  • First Aid certification
Working Conditions:

This role may require standing for extended periods and occasional lifting or assisting students with physical needs. The work environment is typically within a school setting, following school hours and term dates.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
