Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage all aspects of assigned construction projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Collaborate closely with the Senior Building Surveyor to strategize, assess, and enhance project plans.
  • Supervise the performance of designated Building Surveyors, ensuring compliance with project specifications and timelines.
  • Oversee significant new construction and renovation projects, as well as planned maintenance and other funded initiatives.
Qualifications:
  • Higher National Diploma in Building Studies or an equivalent recognized qualification.
  • Extensive experience in direct supervision of surveyors within a commercial property portfolio.
  • Significant background as a Chartered Construction Manager or Chartered Building Engineer, particularly in commercial property settings.
  • Proven history of managing projects from initial feasibility and design through to successful completion.
  • Experience in a large corporate, civil service, or local government office environment.
  • Familiarity with specific technologies or software pertinent to construction management.
  • Proficiency in construction management software and tools, including CAD and project management applications.
