Reed Finance: Ambitious Head of Finance Opportunity

We are partnering with a dynamic SME to find an exceptional Head of Finance who can drive financial strategy and contribute to the company's success.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the finance team to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting and robust controls.
  • Develop and execute financial strategies aligned with the company's goals.
  • Provide insightful financial analysis to support decision-making and business growth.
  • Partner with senior stakeholders to drive business performance and profitability.
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory law and financial regulations.
  • Work closely with auditors to ensure proper compliance with all regulations.
  • Mentor and develop the finance team, managing work allocation, training, problem resolution, performance evaluation, and team dynamic.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in a senior financial managerial position with a track record of success.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and develop a high-performing finance team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, engaging with senior stakeholders and team members.
  • Robust understanding of financial statistics and accounting principles.
  • Working knowledge of statutory legislation and regulations.
  • Professional qualification, either ACA or ACCA preferred.
  • Strategic thinking with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
