Role Purpose

You will be part of a vibrant team in a fast-paced setting, contributing to the delivery of engineering and technical services at a prestigious site overlooking a major transport hub and iconic river.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Estate Director in executing top-tier property management as part of the Engineering Division.
  • Establish, implement, and uphold effective management systems and procedures for the Mechanical, Electrical, Public Health, Vertical Transportation, and IT Infrastructure Services.
  • Ensure the protection and enhancement of the owners' assets while delivering seamless service to residents, retail, and commercial occupants.
  • Oversee Health, Safety, and Wellbeing management for all estate users.
  • Identify and implement commercial, technical, and operational solutions, including the design and execution of asset replacement strategies.
Essential Skills and Knowledge
  • Conduct regular inspections of critical plant operations, ensuring safety and compliance.
  • Maintain up-to-date MEP and VT asset registers.
  • Review service partner reports and proposals for compliance and service quality.
  • Ensure adherence to current legislation and standards, including risk assessments and emergency procedures.
  • Assist in preparing and managing engineering service charge budgets.
  • Analyze engineering data and reports, ensuring appropriate follow-up actions.
  • Manage and maintain the eLogbook PPM system, ensuring accuracy of technical information.
  • Prepare contract documentation and manage tender processes.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders regarding operational and technical matters.

Experience and Qualifications
  • Proven experience in Engineering Management.
  • Relevant engineering or building services qualification.
  • Membership in a professional body such as CIBSE, IET, or IWFM is preferred.
  • NEBOSH certification is advantageous.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of mechanical and electrical services.
  • Experience in managing maintenance contracts and supervising contractors.
  • Strong understanding of property management principles.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Working Hours: Standard business hours.
