About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Engineer to join our team at Bilfinger UK Limited. As a Project Engineer, you will play a key role in the successful delivery of projects within the oil and gas industry.

Main Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Project Planning and Execution
    • Develop and implement project plans, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery
    • Coordinate and manage project resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials
  • Commercial Management
    • Monitor and manage project budgets, costs, and revenues
    • Negotiate and manage contracts with clients and suppliers
  • Customer Relationship Management
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
    • Ensure client expectations are met and exceeded
  • Logistics and Supply Chain Management
    • Plan and manage the procurement and delivery of materials, equipment, and services
    • Coordinate and manage the mobilization of personnel and equipment
  • Safety and Quality Management
    • Ensure compliance with safety and quality procedures and regulations
    • Identify and mitigate risks to ensure project success
  • Personnel Management
    • Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team
    • Manage team performance, including performance evaluations and disciplinary actions
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Technical Experience
    • Proven experience in a similar role within the oil and gas industry
    • Strong knowledge of project management principles and practices
  • Commercial Awareness
    • Strong understanding of commercial principles and practices
    • Ability to negotiate and manage contracts
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
  • Problem-Solving and Analytical Skills
    • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
    • Ability to identify and mitigate risks
