Position Overview

Join the Highways Service at Rochdale Council during a pivotal moment of transformation. We are excited to offer a unique opportunity for a Senior Engineer specializing in Casualty Reduction and Traffic Regulation Orders within our Network Management team. Collaborating with various stakeholders across the Borough, you will play a key role in developing proposals aimed at enhancing road safety and traffic management.

Your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of project activities, including:

  • Creating innovative concept designs
  • Securing necessary funding
  • Conducting public consultations
  • Overseeing the successful implementation of Casualty Reduction initiatives and Traffic Regulation Orders
  • Commissioning the final delivery of these projects
