About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Mental Health Practitioner to join our team in Great Yarmouth and Waveney Child and Adolescent Mental Health Team. As a Senior Mental Health Practitioner, you will work with a multi-disciplinary team to provide mental health assessment and short-term therapeutic interventions to children, young people, and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments and develop goal-focussed treatment plans
  • Deliver evidence-based interventions and work collaboratively with young people and their families
  • Participate in the Duty Clinician rota for urgent response and contribute to the development of service protocols
  • Collaborate with colleagues from health, education, and social care teams to provide person-centred treatment packages
Requirements
  • Nursing degree or equivalent, Dip OT, Clinical Psychology, or equivalent
  • Experience in delivering clinical interventions and working in a team environment
  • Effective risk assessment and risk management skills
  • Ability to travel independently
