Job Title: Electrical Maintenance Engineer

CBW Staffing Solutions is seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our team in a commercial building in Fenchurch Street, London.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and proactive Electrical Maintenance Engineer to work on a continental shift, performing electrical and mechanical maintenance tasks. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical maintenance, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform electrical and mechanical maintenance tasks, including lighting, emergency lighting, air conditioning, and water treatment.
  • Monitor mechanical plant and plumbing systems, identifying and reporting faults as necessary.
  • Undertake allocated tasks in a timely and professional manner, being proactive in identifying and resolving faults with building services equipment.
  • Maintain informal communications with client staff members related to service levels and issues.
  • Report service-affecting issues to the site management team for formal communication with the client.
Requirements:
  • Electrically qualified level 3 or mechanically qualified level 2 (C&G, NVQ, etc.).
  • 18th edition (if electrically qualified).
  • Experience working in a large commercial building.
  • Ability to provide copies of trade certificates.
  • Proven track record in commercial building maintenance.
  • Multi-skilled, with good communication and customer skills.
