About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Multi-Skill Trades Bricklayer to join our responsive repairs team at Platform Property Care, a well-established property maintenance business within the Platform Housing Group.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out repairs and maintenance work as a Bricklayer, with a focus on delivering high-quality results and meeting customer expectations.
- Utilize associated trade skills, including basic carpentry, decorating, and groundsworks, to complete multi-trade work efficiently.
- Work independently and as part of a team to ensure jobs are completed on time and to a high standard.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, providing excellent customer service and communication.
- Contribute to the growth and success of Platform Property Care by identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing changes.
Requirements
- NVQ L2 Bricklaying qualification.
- Experience working as a Bricklayer in the building trade, with a focus on multi-trade work.
- Experience working for a Social Landlord, housing association, or council.
- Associated trade skills, including basic carpentry, decorating, and groundsworks.
- Good organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Full driving license.
- DBS check required due to working with customers in their homes.
