Kimpton Charlotte Square Edinburgh combines classic Edinburgh architecture with a contemporary ambiance, providing a luxurious experience for our guests. Our hotel features a serene Garden area, a delightful dining experience at BABA restaurant, and a state-of-the-art Spa.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Night Operations Supervisor, your primary duties will include:
- Overseeing the Night Audit process and managing the closing of our outlets, ensuring accurate cash handling and addressing any discrepancies.
- Collaborating with the Front Office Manager to warmly welcome late arrivals and attend to their needs throughout the night, ensuring no detail is overlooked.
- Facilitating effective communication within the front office and with the broader hotel team to maintain guest and team member safety during night operations, including conducting necessary safety checks.
- Leading and mentoring team members, ensuring they are well-trained and confident in their roles.
- Managing your shift effectively, addressing complex guest requests or concerns, and ensuring all team tasks are completed.
Qualifications:
We are looking for candidates who possess:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in front office management and team leadership in a comparable establishment.
- Proven experience in handling complex service recoveries, demonstrating confidence in resolving guest complaints to achieve positive outcomes.
- A solid understanding of operational systems to drive results, with experience in Opera being advantageous.
- A willingness to assist across various hotel departments to ensure a personalized 5-star service for our guests.
