About the Role

DCS Technology is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cyber Security professional to join our team as Head of Cyber Security. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading our cyber security efforts and ensuring the protection of our digital assets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive cyber security strategy to protect our digital estate
  • Lead a team of cyber security professionals to detect and respond to security threats
  • Collaborate with the IT Operations Director to ensure seamless integration of security processes
  • Define and implement security processes to prevent unauthorized access and activity
  • Work closely with software development teams to ensure secure coding practices
  • Experience with endpoint and network detection and response, as well as database security
  • Strong understanding of cloud security, preferably with AWS or alternative vendors
  • Knowledge of open-source risk management and security best practices
Requirements
  • Extensive experience in cyber security, preferably from a hands-on technical background
  • Strong understanding of application security and secure coding practices
  • Experience working with software development teams and leading security initiatives
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
