Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Chief Engineer to join our engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the planning and implementation of procedures, systems, and control to ensure an efficient and proactive engineering department.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Assist in the development and implementation of maintenance schedules to ensure the hotel's facilities are well-maintained and running smoothly.
  2. Collaborate with other departments to ensure effective communication and coordination of maintenance activities.
  3. Conduct regular safety and security risk assessments to identify potential hazards and implement measures to mitigate them.
  4. Prepare and manage maintenance budgets to ensure cost-effective solutions.
  5. Supervise and train junior engineers to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
Requirements
  1. Previous experience in a supervisory or managerial role within a luxury hotel setting.
  2. Conversant with fire and emergency procedures.
  3. Familiarity with sustainability practices and energy efficiency strategies in facilities management.
  4. Understanding of Building Management Systems (BMS).
