The Role

We are seeking an experienced Family Law Solicitor to join our team, who will be responsible for handling a range of privately funded divorce, financial, and children matters. The ideal candidate will possess a keen eye for detail, be confident in a fast-paced commercial environment, and have a strong understanding of Law Society and GDPR regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure the confidentiality and security of all firm and client documentation and information, adhering to Law Society and GDPR regulations.
  • Achieve agreed levels of billing and time recording per annum, demonstrating a strong understanding of commercial acumen.
  • Manage the bill process and interact with the finance team, ensuring seamless communication and efficient workflow.
  • Draft documents, including correspondence and court documents, with precision and attention to detail.
  • Provide support to team members as required, demonstrating a collaborative and proactive approach.
  • Contribute to operational reviews and continuous improvement initiatives, driving excellence in our services.
  • Understand and contribute to the team's objectives, while promoting the firm's values and mission.
  • Actively participate in marketing activities, showcasing our expertise and services to potential clients.

Requirements

  • 5-10 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) is essential.
  • Experience in handling a range of privately funded divorce, financial, and children matters, including acting for high net worth (HNW) clients, is mandatory.
  • Commercial awareness and a strong understanding of the legal industry are crucial.
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills, with the ability to prioritize work and meet strict deadlines.
  • Strong IT skills and the ability to work independently, using initiative and judgment.
