We are seeking a skilled Purchase Specialist to join our team in the EU. As a key member of our purchasing department, you will be responsible for sourcing and procuring direct commodities for our operations.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement a direct strategy plan for the EU, working closely with global purchase and design teams.
- Identify key commodities and suppliers within the EU region, considering supply risk factors and supporting the EU Direct Purchasing Manager on commercial contracting.
- Assess and evaluate suppliers to drive improvement activities and ensure optimal supply logistics.
- Support project purchasing and supply chain teams across the EU to maximize supply logistics improvements and avoid production delays.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Power BI, as well as SAP.
- Fluent English language skills (C1 level) and excellent communication skills to build relationships with global functions and suppliers.
- Strong industrial awareness and ability to investigate new supply markets to assess existing and new supplier capabilities.
