Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Clerk to the Board of Directors to provide administrative support to the Board of Directors of Dorset Cricket Board.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Meeting Planning and Coordination

Assist the Chair of the Board of Directors in planning, arranging, and producing agendas and supporting papers for director meetings and Annual General Meetings (AGMs).

Minute Taking

Accurately record minutes for Director's meetings, AGMs, and other meetings.

Compliance and Governance

Ensure that all meetings comply with the requirements of the governing document.

Decision Implementation

Ensure that director decisions are implemented in accordance with the company's governing document or other internal operational procedures.

Record Keeping

Accurately record decisions and actions in the minutes.

Support to the Board

Provide support to the members of the Board with their role requirements.

Essential Skills and Qualifications
  1. Office Administration Experience

Experience and knowledge of office administration processes.

Technical Skills

Excellent Microsoft Office and document presentation skills.

Commitment and Teamwork

Commitment to the company strategy and a willingness to devote the necessary time.

Communication and Interpersonal Skills

An ability to work effectively as a member of a team as well as able to effectively work independently.
