Dorset Cricket Board (DCB) is the governing body for all recreational cricket in the County. We play an important role in the community through the promotion and development of cricket activities at all levels, ages and abilities; through our work we positively impact the lives of all who play and enjoy its social, mental and physical benefits.

We are now seeking a new Chair and up to four new Directors to join us at an exciting stage in our growth and development as an organisation. The Chair will provide senior strategic and operational leadership of the Board, and help drive, inspire, define, and champion our vision, mission, values, and reputation. All our Directors play a central role in:
Supporting, developing and delivering accessible and enjoyable opportunities that grow the game;
Leveraging on their networks, knowledge of the cricketing and sport landscape, and commitment to growing access to the game to promote our work and develop partnerships;
Providing strategic oversight and accountability; and,
Checking and challenging executive decision-making.

The new Chair and Directors of DCB will be collaborative individuals, with a demonstrable enthusiasm for inspiring passion and engagement for cricket across the County. They will understand the sport and physical activity sector, have strong interpersonal skills, and be skilled communicators.

Understand corporate governance;
Have proven leadership experience;
Possess integrity, good judgment, and independence of mind; and,
Have experience in managing stakeholders in complex environments.
