**About Us**

WB Power Services Ltd is a leading provider of generator solutions, maintenance, sales, and rentals, serving customers across the UK.

**The Role**

  1. Conduct routine maintenance on various diesel generator sets to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  2. Diagnose and address electrical and mechanical faults promptly, executing necessary remedial repairs with precision and accuracy.
  3. Perform Load Banking and mains failure testing on-site as per customer requirements, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  4. Identify and procure parts for both remedial and preventative maintenance tasks, maintaining inventory levels and minimizing downtime.
  5. Stay updated with relevant training and development to enhance technical expertise and knowledge of generator systems.
  6. Coordinate to schedule repairs and services, ensuring satisfaction and timely resolution for customers.
  7. Collaborate effectively with the internal service team, fostering professional communication and teamwork to achieve business objectives.

**The Ideal Candidate**

  1. Time served as generator engineer or qualified to NVQ level 3, with a strong understanding of electronics and mechanical components.
  2. Familiarity with engine and alternator systems, as well as experience with mobile engineering positions.
  3. Ability to work overtime, including mid-week, weekend shifts, and occasional overnight stays as needed, with a willingness to adapt to changing circumstances.
  4. Capacity to understand and complete risk assessments, ensuring a safe working environment.
  5. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively via telephone and face-to-face.

  1. Competitive hourly rates (dependent on experience) and overtime pay after 40 hours.
  2. Working from home with Door-to-Door pay and on-call standby pay £200 per week.
