Electromagnetic Design and Testing Lead

Advanced Resource Managers Limited is seeking an experienced Electromagnetic Design and Testing Lead to join their team in Barrow-in-Furness. As a key member of the engineering team, you will be responsible for leading the design and testing of electromagnetic systems to ensure compliance with relevant standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Specify and manage requirements and acceptance criteria for electromagnetic systems.
  • Provide technical support to engineering teams in defining electromagnetic requirements and testing regimes.
  • Undertake specialist testing of systems, subsystems, and components to ensure compliance with electromagnetic standards.
  • Design and implement system mitigation to meet electromagnetic standards.
  • Mentor and coach engineers within the team to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform electromagnetic design and testing tasks.
Requirements:
  • Hold a BEng (Hons) / MEng or equivalent qualification in a relevant field.
  • Have professional registration at Chartered level or evidence of working towards this.
