Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team in an Acute Mental Health ward in East London. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in an inpatient setting with adults who have mental health conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide occupational therapy services to patients with mental health conditions
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify patient needs
  • Develop and implement strategies to promote patient independence and well-being

Requirements:

  • Registered Occupational Therapist with a valid license
  • Experience working in an inpatient mental health setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Knowledge of occupational therapy principles and practices
