We are seeking a highly skilled Junior Procurement Specialist to join our team at Success Talent. As a Junior Procurement Specialist, you will be responsible for managing the procurement process for one of our largest departments, working closely with the merchandising team to plan ranges and develop strategic plans.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with the design team to deliver ranges, interpreting key trends and market insights
  • Manage and deliver key performance indicators (KPIs) on margin and profit
  • Work independently on product development and quality control, ensuring that products meet the company's high standards
  • Collaborate with the Head of Buying to create strategic plans and ensure effective communication between all levels of the department
  • Report key information in trading meetings and respond to competitor analysis
  • Complete buying trips and store visits to stay up-to-date with market trends and customer needs
  • Ensure sales are maximized and in line with the company strategy

Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of the fashion jewellery market and trends
  • At least 2 years of experience as a Junior Buyer or Senior Assistant Buyer in the jewellery industry, preferably in sterling silver
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work with cross-functional teams
