About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Procurement Specialist to join our team at Findel. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for sourcing and purchasing products that meet our customers' needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with our Merchandising team to develop and implement procurement strategies that drive business growth and profitability.
  • Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer demand to inform procurement decisions.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to negotiate favorable terms and prices.
  • Develop and implement effective sourcing strategies to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of products.
  • Work closely with our QA team to ensure products meet quality standards.
  • Attend trade fairs and industry events to stay up-to-date on market trends and identify new business opportunities.
  • Provide training and support to junior team members to help them develop their skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a procurement or sourcing role, preferably in the education sector.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with suppliers and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on delivering results and meeting deadlines.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
