About the Role

Your new company, a global facilities company, is seeking an experienced people-orientated payroll manager to join their team on a permanent basis. Located in Salford Quays, with hybrid working two days in the office and flexibility within work hours.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the entire payroll department, reporting to the head of payroll, ensuring accurate and timely submissions to meet deadlines.
  • Manage the end-to-end process of submitting payments to banks, checking, and confirming payroll, maintaining a high level of accuracy.
  • Lead a high-performing team, providing strong leadership and ensuring excellent eye for detail.
Requirements
  • 5-10 years of payroll experience in a high-volume environment or shared service background, ideally using a SAP payroll system or other large ERP system.
  • Experience with UK and ROI payroll legislation.
  • Strong leadership experience and ability to manage a high-performing team.
