Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Safety Case Engineer to join our team at KBR. As a key member of our infrastructure portfolio, you will play a critical role in supporting multiple projects and ensuring the delivery of high-quality safety cases.

About the Role

As a Safety Case Engineer, you will be responsible for:

  • Assisting in the oversight, supervision, and assessment of safety case production, maintenance, and development.

  • Authoring and developing safety cases or associated safety management arrangements in support of client operations.

  • Attending review and project meetings, Hazard Identification Workshops, and other stakeholder meetings.

  • Reviewing safety case documentation in accordance with client arrangements and relevant good practice expectations.

  • Developing safety case documents.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Demonstrable experience of safety case delivery or assessment in a nuclear environment.

  • Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a proactive mindset.

  • SC clearance or eligibility for SC clearance.

  • Accredited degree in an appropriate STEM discipline (or equivalent qualification and experience).

  • Desirable: Chartered Engineer.
