About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Safety Case Engineer to join our team at EDF. As a Safety Case Engineer, you will play a critical role in the development and maintenance of safety cases for our nuclear power plants.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain safety cases for nuclear power plants
  • Provide technical leadership in resolving challenging issues
  • Work with multiple disciplines and organisational levels to drive the development and maintenance of safety cases
  • Understand the bigger picture and distil a range of source data and analysis to define, scope and strategically plan the delivery of safety cases
  • Identify and lead pragmatic solutions and challenge current strategies
Requirements
  • HNC or equivalent in Engineering, Physics, Mathematics or a similar technical discipline
  • Experience in safety case development and maintenance
  • Excellent organisation skills and ability to work autonomously and in teams
